Art Therapy & More
Welcome. I am so glad you have found your way here.
I believe that creativity has the power to awaken, empower, heal and transform. My hope is to hold a gentle space for you to find a place of freedom, courage, and trust in yourself and your intuition.
I offer this opportunity through art workshops and therapeutic groups, individual counselling and creative arts therapy and clinical supervision for practitioners. I can offer these both in person and online.
I am also a practising artist and some of my works are available for sale.
Connect at home with meditations, art therapy resources and community.
Intuitive art honours the creative expression waiting to unfold within every person who is brave enough to trust, let go, and explore. It is through this kind of heartfelt expression that truths are revealed, lives transform, and new worlds are born. You don’t need to be “good” at art, just prepared to show up and listen to yourself.
Intuitive art workshops are about following your heart towards aliveness. I will show you some ideas and techniques to help you be present in your body, tune into your own experience and let your creativity escape.
It’s fun, it’s heartbreaking, it’s transformational.
Expressive Art Group
Groups can be a wonderful, safe space to help you to re-discover your creativity. If you are ready to gather with others for inspiration, connection and creative play, with different mediums you may enjoy a workshop or art therapy group.
Creative arts groups help you tune in to your own unique creative process while releasing attachment to meaning, control, expertise or final product. You will have the opportunity to play in an environment free of judgement and an invitation to reflect on your creative process. The process is gentle and deeply respectful - at no time will you be pressured to do anything. The groups are built on mindfulness, creative permission and spontaneous expression. They stem from a deep belief that creativity is fundamental to human health and wellbeing.
Professional supervision has become an essential practice for helping professions worldwide. Clinical supervision is based on a trusting relationship that aims to provide a safe emotional space in which supervisees can discuss their professional work-related concerns. The process aims to empower supervisees through guided reflection that is learner-centred and learner-led, and holds the trusting relationship at the heart of clinical supervision.
I incorporate creativity into my supervision sessions (individual or group) as I believe that creativity has the power to awaken, empower, heal and transform. My aim is to hold a gentle space for practitioners to reignite their creative fire, guiding them to a place of freedom, intuition, courage and trust in their practice.
